6) Personal insults, um? That's a sign that you lack any rational arguments. You entered this thread directing personal insults to me and to Iberians, rather than debating in a rational manner. "Wannabe Roman." That's a new one. I assumed you were someone specific because he got his ass drilled on this thread over the scientific method. So maybe you are not him. I have absolutely no wish to be "Roman," I merely express solidarity with Italians because I have good friends who are Italian and who enjoy my posts. If I wanted to claim the greatness of Italy, I wouldn't have "Viva la Sicilia" next to my avatar, since there are other parts of Italy better known for its cultural output. All I have done is defend the Italian people. In fact, I have received some positive emails from Italians over things I have written on these boards. So, it seems, those who object greatest to my posts tend to be Germanics and non-Europeans. Southern Europeans may disagree with me, but they at least know how to debate without name-calling and behaving like an angry child. Now, if you don't mind, I have some Sicilian history to steal -- and some of their women too. ;D

1) No. Those sculptures and the Iberian alphabet were brought to the barbaric Iberians by the civilized Greeks, some other Eastern Mediteranean seafarers, and the Carthaganians. They did not develop independently. Plus the oldest found Iberian alphabets date from 400 BC, only 200 years younger than Germanic alphabets. First notice I have that the Iberian and Tartessan alphabets were brought by the Greeks. You must have some information that no one else knows. Have you ever seen a sample of these alphabets or you are just giving some pleasure to your big mouth? As for the sculptures, the Greeks must have had a busy time teaching the Iberians even before they arrived in Iberia, and that despite the fact that when they arrived they only had a very reduced number of trading posts. Posterior influences? Of course, no one is denying that point, much as you would like me to do. Besides, why do you stop at only sculptures? Is that everything you can think of? The oldes runes found date to the 1st century AD (and at that time they are not attested as a 'language' but just as signs with a mystical or religious significance). Do you also have some knowledge of calculus that we are not aware of and that allows you to conclude that more than 400 years equal to 200? Please share. You laugh at your own ignorance? There was an alloy in those weapons that the Romans never got to discover, and their flexibility was never achieved outside Iberia. Uh? Nah.. they actually won a lottery ticket. which they didn't need... right, so they imported the metals they used from some metallurgic industry sited in Germany? You must feel so proud of your idiocy. Yes, plenty. Not that you could give a long list, but we must take your word for it. Rational? Is there anything rational in your words? Then, how do you expect anyone to answer a stupidity in rational terms? No, not Portugal. The Age of the Discoveries initiated and realized by the Portuguese navigators, discoverers and explorers has no meaning at all... for you. And not just the voyages of discovery, but all the arithmetic calculus, astronomy and other sciences in and around them. If you don't even know how to spell Renaissance, how do you intend to make us believe you are knowing of what period of time we are talking about? And I suggest you stop reading comics and watch soap-operas and instead take a book for a change. After your nothing rational diatribe you threaten to contact someone rational? It's ridiculous.
