YHVH/Jehovah/Yahweh are the same thing. Yes, ... identical also to Jesus/Youshwa/ CRAP. This world would have been a nice place without Religions. Racially, I have nothing against Semites but whenever I think about these Cultural Viruses they 'invented' and sold to the other peoples, I just wish if they have never existed or if they could disappear; They bear an enormous responsibility ...

I always wonder at the fact that Islam has a billion adherents. Yet 99% of all the hate-mongering I see isn't from them.
I have yet to see a Muslim come on this board and start a thread about the embarrassing underbelly of Christianity or Judaism.
Yet the constant flow of poisonous rhetoric and hate-mongering never ceases from Christian zealots and angry Zionists. They keep telling us how "hateful" Muslims are, but--looking at the matter scientifically--I have no empiracl evidence for the hate. I do, however, have dozens of examples of anti-Muslim propaganda.
If there's an anti-Christian thread started by a Muslim on Dodona, please bring it to my attention. I'd love to be "corrected". But as it stands all the hate-mongering I'm seeing is coming from one direction--and it's not the Muslims.

Maybe because the forum is overwhelming non muslem? No, thats just one reason. My Classical Arabic is perfect. I have read the Coran and most versions I meet of the Bible (Arabic, French and English versions). The Coran asks his followers to aknowledge and respect the Biblical faiths and their major figures (be they christian or judaîc). Their is one more point : Coran, when seen as a theory of Universe and Life, presents a relatively solid internal coherence, compared to the Bible which laks it in so many parts of it. The Coran appears also to have been written in a careful way: According to Jesus' genealogy given in the Bible the humakind is young (10 kyrs old); The anthropoligical fossil records provide much greater age for humans (Millions yrs old) .... and the Coran gave no numbers at all. The Coran and the Bible fail miserably in their creationist view of humans' origine.

Or maybe you've just failed miserably in your ability to interpret it.

I think that Berter, though self-proclamed atheist, still sympathizes with Islam.

The Coran and the Bible fail miserably in their creationist view of humans' origine. Let's take a look at this solid book and this "highly scientific" religion. *the Qur’an says that one of the righteous men of God’s servants saw the sun set in a certain place of the earth—in particular a well full of water and mud. There, this man found some people. Let us read what is recorded in the Qur’an (chapter "the Cave", verse 86), "When he reached the setting place of the sun, he found it setting in a muddy spring and found a people thereabout. We said: ‘O Dhul-Qarneyn! Either punish or show them kindness"’ (Surah 18:86). *How many days did it take to create Heavens and Earth ? Quran 7: 54 Your gurdian-Lord is Allah who created the heavens and earth in Six Days*Quran 41: 9 Is it that ye deny Him who created the earth in Two Days ? *Quran 41: 10 He set on the (earth) Mountains standing firm high above it, and bestowed blessing on the earth, and measured therein all things to give them nourishment in due proportion, in four days… The sun and the moon?Quran 36: 40 It is not for Sun to overtake the moon, nor doth the night outstrip the day. They float each in an orbitWhy Allah Created Stars? Quran 37: 6-8 We have indeed decorated the lower heaven (sky) with beauty (in) the stars, (for beauty) and for guard against all obstinate rebellious Satans. So they should not strain their ears in the direction of the Exalted Assembly but be cast away from every side Is Sky/Heaven A ROOFQuran 31: 10 He hath created the heavens (Skies) without supports (pillars) that ye can see, and hath cast into the earth firm Mountains/Hills, so that it quake not with you; and He hath dispersed… Quran 21: 32 And We have made the sky a roof withheld (from them). Yet they turn away from its portents Does Sun Rotate Around the Earth?Quran 31: 29 Seest thou not that Allah merges Night into Day and He merges Day into Night; That He has subjected the sun and moon (to His law), each running its course for a term (time) appointed. Quran 21: 33 It is He who created The Night and Day, And the Sun and Moon; each of them Swim (float) along in its own courseIs Man Created From Clotted Blood? Quran-23:14: Then fashioned We the drop (semen) a CLOT OF CONGEALED BLOOD then fashioned We the Clot a little lump (foetus), fashioned We the little lump into bones, then clothed the bones with flesh, and then produced it another creation. So blessed be Allah, the Best of Creators. ( Bengali translated Quran said: “Zamaa’t Raokto theeke Manoosh banieesi” And this Ayat has been repeated again and again throughout the Quran ) Quran-75:38: Then he becomes a CLOT; then (Allah) shaped and fashioned… ETC.............................
