If there really is Paleo-Atlantid, I think he has at least some of it:

He looks Atlanto-Mediterranid, not Palaeo-Atlantid. Look at the pictures I posted.

Noooo not Connery again to settle it. Connery looks very Glaswegian (West British) working class!. Glaswegians actor Fulton McKay and singer Marty Pellow belong to the same type In short its a (Atlantic/Keltic) broadened by a Coarse 'Cro-Magnid' element typical of the area His features are 'Irish' in Coon's way. The Mediterranean element in Western Scots is represented well by another Glaswegian, Midge Ure, The broad Up type in Glasgow can be seen in Robbie Coltrane and Billy Connolly Coon wrote that Western Scotland was a mixture of Atlantid and UP.

I fail to detect all these "Cromagnid Irish features" in Sean Connery's phenotype. To me he appears mostly Atlanto-Mediterranid.

He already told you--his wide face. Since we know his ancestry, and it just doesn't look Alpinid....:

I agree with Forrester. Not Alpine, more likely Cromag, considering he's British.

I could agree with Mediterranid-Cromagnid, but we should remember that Coon said that an Alpinid element is however present in Scotland.

Again I can just agree with Forresters comments, they represent my position too. Berids are just a small, partly rather primitive variant of Southern Cromagnoids and are in the same sense Mediterranoid as (medium-dark-dolicho) Dalofaelids (tall-light-dolicho) are Nordoid. I explained how Berids are related to Gracilmediterranids and Westalpinids in other threads.
Lundman was not always right by the way - everybody makes mistakes.

Is there any difference between Berid, Natufid and Saharid?

Agrippa, would you consider Saharids (pre-Arab gracile North Africans) to be a branch of Mediterranids? And if so, why then wouldn't you consider Orientalids as a branch of Mediterranids, as well? It all rings ye olde brunet belt to me. I could understand putting both Saharids and Orientalids in a Mediterranoid group, but anything more specific than that doesn't make much sense to me, considering both groups look too different from European Mediterraneans.

Especially along the North African coast, f.e. in Tunisia, you will find obviously types which are very close to Western or Eastern classic Mediterranids of Europe, so it depends on the exact regional form and from what its derived from too. In general they are closer to classic Mediterranids than Orientalids are, which are, in classic schemes, mainly distinguished by very specific, f.e. facial (nose, eyes, forehead) traits. Mediterranid in the narrower sense means primarily Gracilmediterranid to me and in most systems anyway - same is true for Nordid with Skandonordid.
