I have been told by some that Georgia is not considered a country and based on all the splits in the Czech Republic and many other places "splitting", I assumed the status of the coutry might be different.

A very large percentage ( all of them?! ) of Georgians have the flat-backed skulls which were spoken of in connection with Poles in another thread.

It is also common among people in eastern Turkey. It is more often from a Taurid source in Eastern Turkey and Georgia. A very large percentage ( all of them?! ) of Georgians have the flat-backed skulls which were spoken of in connection with Poles in another thread.

<-------------- I have a flat head. (Maybe there's something to this Georgian-Iberian connection, after all.) Either that, or I was just neglected as a baby.

Georgia is now an independent country (since the early 1990's). It was annexed to Russia under Catherine the Great, then blown off, then it was independent for like three years before it went with the Bolsheviks and then Soviet. But since like 4 A.D. up until all the Russian issues, Georgia was invaded and "destroyed" and rebuilt so many times who KNOWS what the people look like back whenever this reputation was supposedly established compared to how they look now. The idea that the Georgian women are world class beauties is an odd one. There are some very striking and beautiful women Georgia, as there are anywhere, but from what I have seen that is not the norm. I posted a picture of a Georgian woman this evening and someone nailed her as Georgian right off the bat. She's typical. And since she probably isn't ever going to read this I think I'm safe to say she's, umm, not pretty.
