Ariel Sharon allowed the lebanese christians into the camps... he knew full well what they were going to do. He was complicit in the slaughter of all those women and children. Did he approach the perps? Did he finance the attack? See, the reason he was never convicted is because he had nothing to do with the incident, besides the fact that he did nothing to stop it. That isn't enough to convict someone a war criminal. Apples and oranges. A rapist is the perpetrator of rape, Sharon did not perpetrate or aid the incident. I don't personally have evidence, but the US gov't, the EU, the Israeli gov't, etc. do. Enough to brand Hezbollah a terrorist organization. BTW, Hezbollah isn't about defending Lebanon. Their ultimate goal is the destruction of Israel. That alone is enough to classify them as terrorist. Terrific logic. Becuase of the WMDs in Iraq issue, all US intelligence is bunk. Once again: Apples and oranges. Most of the WMD information came from outside sources, btw. Actually, the occupation is not illegal, as the land was captured in series of defensive maneuvers during the Six Day War. According to the road map, Israel is not obligated to return the territories until the PA starts to dismantle terrorist groups. Right now, Israel is (again) acting in good faith with the planned disengagement from Gaza, even though Abu Mazen isn't doing anything to prevent further terrorist attacks against the Jewish state.

He knew full well what they were goin to do therefore he is responsible as well for the massacre. Even a biased Israeli inquiry found him "personally responsible" for the war crime. The US gov't and Israel are in no position to brand anyone terrorists. Have you forgotten the israeli torture chambers in southern lebanon? Forgotten abu graib? Besides when it comes to the middle east the USA and Israel telling lies is more the rule than the exception. Hehe a year or so ago the US and Israel claimed that Iranian "Revolutionary Guards" were stationed in the Bekaa Valley- a totally ridiculous lie with no credibility whatsoever. The USA is overwhelmingly pro-Israeli and is not to be thought of as an objective source.

Even a biased Israeli inquiry found him "personally responsible" for the war crime. No. The 'biased' Israeli inquiry (The Kahan Commission) found him "indirectly responsible" for the incident. What does any of that have to do with Hezbollah?

In case anyone is interested... "Hezbollah and its affiliates have planned or been linked to a lengthy series of terrorist attacks against the United States, Israel, and other Western targets. These attacks include: a series of kidnappings of Westerners in Lebanon, including several Americans, in the 1980s; the suicide truck bombings that killed more than 200 U.S. Marines at their barracks in Beirut, Lebanon, in 1983; the 1985 hijacking of TWA flight 847, which featured the famous footage of the plane’s pilot leaning out of the cockpit with a gun to his head; and two major 1990s attacks on Jewish targets in Argentina—the 1992 bombing of the Israeli Embassy (killing 29) and the 1994 bombing of a Jewish community center (killing 95). Americans come off so brainwashed when it comes to issues which pivot on the subject of Israel or the Middle East.
P.S.--As for myself, I am both anti-Arab AND anti-Israeli. I'm pro-Eskimo. [They seem to be responsible for a lot less killing.]

Americans come off so brainwashed when it comes to issues which pivot on the subject of Israel or the Middle East. Well, k5, Yigal and I are the only Americans who voiced an opinion. Maybe you should replace 'Americans' with 'Jews'. Then you could include Curious6. Really, though, be more specific.

Flowin Prose, Don't be paranoid. "Jew" and "Israeli" are NOT interchangeable terms. American Jews are American. Period. I am friends with an old Jewish-American who fought for the United States in WWII. He's to be respected and honored--not considered a "partial-American," just because he's Jewish and assumed to be of "divided loyalties". He's American through and through. More American than I have a right to call myself--since I have never served in the military and never put my life on the line for the US--as he has! So, no, I don't consider "Jews" and "Israelis" interchangeable. Israel is a country, Jewishness is a religion and ethnicity. By the way, most of Israel's fiercest critics are non-Israeli Jews. So please don't do a disservice to all those Jews loyal to the countries they live in by implying that, to be a Jew, you must be more loyal to a foreign nation called Israel than the nation that you live in. It's THAT attitude that gets Jews killed.

How did I imply that? Lose the condescending tone and think before you type. You think I don't know about Jewish American criticism of Israel? You think I don't know about Adam Shapiro, the ISM, Noam Chomsky, etc.?
You want to try making some sense? What the hell is that supposed to mean?
I'm still waiting for you to explain your other post.

What do I think of Hezbollah? I like them. they are more professional (they have their own media outlets eg satellite TV networl and newspapers), more legitmate than some silly suicide bombers from Hamas or Islamic Jihad. They not only kicked out the invading Israelis out of their land, but they also support the local population by providing and building schools and hospitals. Whats not to commend about them? Am I mistaken or do they not only target the Israeli Defense Force and not civilian targets, while Israelis routinely bulldoze refugee camps?
Go Hezbollah

Al Manar had a few TV shows though based on the Protocols of Zion and they had one blood libel series or something about Syrian Jews secretly going around kidnapping Syrian Arab kids and slitting their throats to use their blood to make matza meal.
Watch "The Diaspora" and you will see what I'm talkin about.
Other wild claims Hezbollah has made on their channel are that Zionists are infecting other countries with AIDS and that Jews really did 9/11.

K5125, I think that the population of the Third World is being thinned, too. Overpopulation. Henry Kissinger wrote in a now-famous memo back in the 1970s that the overpopulation of the Third World should be considered a "national security issue" for the United States [who would need their natural resources]. Though Israel has been saying that--demographically--their state is doomed since Arabs outbreed Jews at a ridiculously disproprtionate rate, I don't think Jews are actively attempting to thin the populations of the nations around them. But I think there's more than enough credible evidence to suggest that the US has undertaken experiments in this direction. Prediction: Just as in Eastern Europe, AIDS will mysteriously explode in the Middle East once it's been "democratized". The explosion of the disease will be blamed on porn, pent-up Third World repressives going wild with freedom, etc. But the truth will lie closer to all those inoculation shots that "kindly" Western doctors insist on giving the populations. P.S.--If you don't believe the US does this, look up the Tuskeegee experiments where US doctors experimented on blacks--injecting them with syphilis--over a four-decade period. Clinton publicly apologized over it. Also the governor of North Carolina recently publicly apologized for his state [and others] carrying out eugenics programs that secretly sterilized "undesirables" from the 1920s to the 1970s! 1970s!!! So, yes, the US DOES give people [even its own citizens] lethal injections while pretending to be merciful dispensers of medicine. P.P.S.--As recently as two months ago, yet another case was exposed where the government was experimenting on foster children. Here's an article from a mainstream news source: msnbc.msn.com/id/7736157/References: Tuskeegee Experiments: www.infoplease.com/ipa/A0762136.htmlSecret Eugenics Program Exposed and Governor Apologizes: www.kaisernetwork.org/daily_reports/rep_index.cfm?hint=2&DR_ID=15106

I don't get why Arabs are outnumbering Jews. Because supposedly over half of Israelis are Sephardic and the Sephardic families apparently have like 10 or more kids usually just like arabs do.
It seems to be only ashkenazis who are now a minority in Israel that have the least amount of children. This is typical of us, I don't know why.
