Honestly, how can the words 'legit' and 'Hezbollah' even appear in the same sentence? (I realised I have just done it.)

Believe it or not a lot of americans consider them nothing more than just a militant political party rather than terrorists. A lot of Lebanese like them too because they say they drove out the Israelis and that that wouldn't have happened if it wasn't for Hezollah. But I don't even see why the whole world was protesting Israel's invasion into Lebanon because they had to root out terrorism.

They're no different than Hamas or Islamic Jihad. Terrorists, definitely.

Why did Israel invade lebanon in first place?, I am not trying to argue I just dont remember, Ive read that before that lebanon was very wealthy and that Beirut used to be a great city.

I would respect them if they focused their energy on forming a soverign Arab government based on Arab ideas in their Homeland. That's one way to oppose the imperialistic Zionists.

Why did Israel invade lebanon in first place?, I am not trying to argue I just dont remember, Ive read that before that lebanon was very wealthy and that Beirut used to be a great city. "In 1978 Palestinian guerrillas, from their base in Lebanon , launched an air raid on Israel; in retaliation, Israel sent troops into S Lebanon to occupy a strip 4-6 mi (6-10 km) deep and thus protect Israel's border. Eventually a UN peacekeeping force was set up there, but occasional fighting continued. In 1982 Israel launched a massive attack to destroy all military bases of the Palestine Liberation Organization in S Lebanon and, after a 10-week siege of the Muslim sector of West Beirut , a PLO stronghold, forced the Palestinians to accept a U.S.-sponsored plan whereby the PLO guerrillas would evacuate Beirut and go to several Arab countries that had agreed to accept them. Israel withdrew from Lebanon in 1985 but continues to maintain a Lebanese-Christian-policed buffer zone north of its border. " www.encyclopedia.com/html/section/ArabIsra_The1982War.asp

Just goes on to show media manipulation and an overall lack of information about the Middle East conflict.

Hezbollah also distributed Farenheit 9/11 throughout Lebanon. When Moore's production company was confronted with this, they said they would not reject Hezbollah's distribution of the film because they didn't want the film boycotted throughout the middle east.

Why did Israel invade lebanon in first place?, I am not trying to argue I just dont remember, Ive read that before that lebanon was very wealthy and that Beirut used to be a great city. Israel's excuse to invade lebanon was built on lies. Even if the PLO launched some attacks from southern lebanon the Israeli response was disproportionate and unjustified... however it was the start of the breaking of the "israel is fighting for its life against hostile arab neighbours" myth. In the disgusting siege of muslim west beirut, the israelis blocked all food and water to the city for months. They even used cluster and phosphorous bombs on west beirut!!! Peaceful israel just trying to "defend" itself uses weapons like that on a city? Poor israel so defenceless... when they got something like the 4th most powerful army on earth. What did Hezbollah do to be branded terrorists? Resist the illegal israeli invasion of lebanon? Use force to try - and eventually succeed in - drive out the israelis from their illegal occupation of southern lebanon? Lets not forget, the current prime minister of israel is Ariel Sharon, a war criminal. Who was complicit in the murder of 3,000 palestinian women and children in beirut refugee camps in september 1983

Lets not forget, the current prime minister of israel is Ariel Sharon, a war criminal. Who was complicit in the murder of 3,000 palestinian women and children in beirut refugee camps in september 1983 Ariel Sharon is not a war criminal. He was NEVER convicted. The irony is that Lebanese Christians carried out the massacre Sharon is supposedly responsible for. Send suicide bombers into Israel? Kill Jews and Americans? Kill and oppress Palestinians?

Ariel Sharon allowed the lebanese christians into the camps... he knew full well what they were going to do. He was complicit in the slaughter of all those women and children.
Never convicted? A rapist is a rapist convicted or not convicted.
You have no evidence that Hezbollah sent suicide bombers into israel. "Hezbollah is also believed by the United States to have kidnapped..." That source loses all credibility after the "believed by the United States" bit. After all didn't the United States believe saddam had WMD?
The Israelis are illegally occupying palestinian land therefore the Palestinians may, and should, use any means necessary to liberate this land. Be it suicide bombings or throwing stones.
