You'd be quite suprised what intelligent, successful, educated White people believe. I know an economist who's liberal, educated, brilliant, and one of the friendliest people I've ever met. However, he isn't happy with the immigration problems or the crime associated with [certain] minority groups or the possibility that he is a minority now in his own city (already in his district).
What about wealthy Whites living inside gated communities in the United States?
Just because someone is a Democrat or liberal and White and educated doesn't mean they are multicultural. They are until a minority family moves into their neighbourhood. They just don't go to clan meetings or organize action groups or perform any kind of social or political act to change the situation. Besides, it's not as if the overt White Nationalists have gotten very far.
Educated Whites in the vast majority would agree with overt White Nationalists about the problems (multiculturalism, low White birth-rate, high minority birth-rate, crime, loss of heritage, etc. (perhaps not miscegenation)), but differ on the solutions, and aren't going to obsess over race when there's no 'intelligent' proposal on the table.

The extreme element of white nationalism is found moreso amongst the lower white socioeconomic classes, generally, with the wealthier/more educated white racialists, taking a more 'moderate' approach.
What is the definition of a white nationalist anyway?
