LOL, I just re-read my last post in this thread and boy does it need corrections! But.............since I appear to have gotten my point across, I won't BOTHER.
I was trained in science, not writing, anyway.
Anyhow, what you say about terrorism being the greatest threat to America is true Graeme, but I was SPECIFICALLY focusing on predictions for the end of the NEXT decade.
As for claims that the American Missile Shield will NEVER work---thats what they said of the Polaris system. Thats what they said to the Wright Brothers.................
Bottom Line is; Despite the fact that terrorism will indeed be the biggest threat to America in the first half of this century---------the missile shield is an ABSOLUTE necessity. And, necessity is the mother of invention. Eventually; air, land, sea and SPACE based sensors and LASERS will defend America from Missile Attack!!
Does that solve the terror problem? NO! But, that doesn't mean its not an ABSOLUTE necessity.

Mexico will not become a fully developed country in the next decades and not any time soon with more than half of its population living in misery.
Northern Mexico is already having problems with the water and the fact the US asks Mexico to give them water as part of our debt and other treaties is not helping the region.

If you're trained in science Fatboy then you know that you need to get your facts straight, you won't get your point across by posting errors then not bothering to correct them. You're wasting the forum's time.

There will be more globalism. There might be a pseudo-international economic and political system. We'll be close to a one world government. Watch the leaders coax the people into exchanging liberty for security like they recently did with implanted chips in Mexico.

Satyros, When I say that Turkey will revive the ottoman empire, I don't mean that literally. I mean to say that they will have the largest population and therefore the largest number of seats in the European legislature, therefore making them one of the key, if not THE key decision makers in the Union ( assuming there population keeps increasing the way it is).
