dont laugh, check this out: the drawing on the top left looks like a helicopter, and that on the bottom right looks like a supersonic jet, wow. check out this little toy found in a tomb in Saqqara, Egypt...looks like a prototype of a model airplane. It can be seen in the Cairo Museum, btw. these are sketches of the same toy "airplane" Do you guys think the ancients perfected modern technological feats such as flying, generating electricity and so on, only for humanity to forget it and "re-discover" it sometime later?

Yeah, I have heard of this theory before. It is really interesting. Actually, if you search on the Web you can probably find links for pages that explain the relationship between the Egyptian pyramids and the Inca and Mayan pyramids. Apparently if you draw lines connecting the centres of the pyramids of the three civilisations it forms an isoceles triangle. There is also some high mathematical accuracy involved in some of their calculations that people have suspected to be the product of contacts with some sort of alien influence.
I don't really believe them, but I recognise that there are some strange coincidences.

Yeah I noticed the landspeeder(no Shit),pretty damn crazy...Then again so was Da Vinci's work.
Alot of the designs and motiff's of Stars Wars where directly taken from history.

Wow that really is some crazy stuff. I've heard of the "Alien Theory" regarding the advanced technology and precision of the Egyptians, Mayans, and Incas, even though I don't believe in it lol. I think it just proves that human intelligence combined with ingenuity gave rise to some magnificent accomplishments among different civilizations in various parts of the world.

The so-called craft on the tomb walls of Abydos can be explained as simply overmarkings of hieroglyphics. Most likely it was the work of various pharaohs marking over the hieroglyphs untill it combined to look something like flying machines.

Personally, I find it odd that around 5000 years ago primitive humans had all sorts of incredible knowledge in an instant. Some of this knowledge we use, but still don't understand how we arrived at it (domestication of plants, animals, acupucture, yoga, astronomical info, etc.). It is as if we were given this information, told to record it, learn it and pass it down.

Even if all the rest is coincidence, I still think the helicopter is a little too eerie.

Eric van Danikans books are interesting, some of his work is based on truth and are fun to read, but the guy has been disovered to be a fruad. He even admitted to inventing alot of things, and passing it off as real...His creditbility is shot.
