This is a chance for Dodonites, who aren't from the USA, to ask some questions about it. I don't represent the views of all Americans, so I thought that it would be cool to ask Buddy, Tony, Murphee, Stella, Josh, Mike, the Black man with 10,000 aliases, and any other American to participate. We might represent a fairly good cross section of Americans from different regions and states. You could ask questions about specific subcultures because of this.

Not a bad idea at all Jack. Since the USA varies a fair amount in many ways, this would help to represent each of its many facets, not to mention that I think I'd learn something as well from the other Americans here about their respective regions.

I am an atypical American. I have never had a can of Pepsi or Coke in my entire life and I have never eaten a McDonald's or Burger King burger.

I avoid fast food as well. Perhaps stamping out soft drinks altogether from my diet is next on the list.

I never liked soft drinks; I like orange juice, carbonated water, other fruit juices. Even as a child, I found soda to be too sweet and hated the taste of cola.

How do Americans respond to Canadian fears that the United States is aggressively seeking its natural resources and may contemplate military aggression?

How do Americans respond to Canadian fears that the United States is aggressively seeking its natural resources and may contemplate military aggression? They can suck it.

I don't foresee the US committing military aggression towards Canada.

Neither do I. And if the US did do that, I would condemn it.

Thanks, Josh. I think that the Americans here represent different regions as well as different racial and religious backgrounds. The same can be said about ideological beliefs. I can't recall any Asian American posters, though.

I am an atypical American. I have never had a can of Pepsi or Coke in my entire life and I have never eaten a McDonald's or Burger King burger. I love fast food and junk food. I need it to survive. However, I still follow the food pyramid (or whatever shape it is this week). I've found that avoiding negative emotions is one of the best ways to stay healthy.

How do Americans respond to Canadian fears that the United States is aggressively seeking its natural resources and may contemplate military aggression? The neoconservatives have a CIA report that indicates that Canada has WMD. You're next on the list after Iran, Syria, North Korea, and Venezuela. We will remove your socialist government and replace it with a democratic one. Canadian citizens, oppressed by PC tyranny, will greet our troops with flowers. ;-)
