Spaniards are mostly HG1. Andulusians for example are about 65 % HG1 and Catalans about 79 % HG1 if I remember well.
HG1 are the people who came to Europe 40.000 years ago, the spreaders of the Aurignacian culture.
irish, british, belgian, dutch, portuguese, basques and spanish people are all predominant HG1

The natives of Iberia were Neanderthals. And our lot put paid to them. The rest of us are immigrants from the east, non IE, IE, UP, Neolithic... it really does not matter and is not a cause to distinguish one Euro from another.

I think this whole topic is a bit silly. Nobody originated in Europe. All humans originally come from Africa. So whats the point?
