Are we supposed to be impressed?
Strauss believed that the US should have a 'cause' to bring Americans together. How does that pertain to this thread? Try addressing my points.

Are we supposed to be impressed? Who are we? Do you represent several people? You are biased and have no points.

And I quote, "Laudabilis, Yankel etc. You got the wrong person this time. My IQ is surely above 130 but that is not the point." Gee, could 'we' be the people you addressed at the beginning of your post?
Your IQ has failed you.

Laudabilis, Yankel etc. You got the wrong person this time. My IQ is surely above 130 but that is not the point. Your propaganda will not work here. Leo Strauss' Philosophy of Deception "Many neoconservatives like Paul Wolfowitz are disciples of a philosopher who believed that the elite should use deception, religious fervor and perpetual war to control the ignorant masses." www.alternet.org/story/15935/"Punchy, personal and passionate, this book aims to explain "how an unlikely group of academics came to power in Washington and provided the philosophical justification for the war on Iraq." The German-born Strauss (1899–1973) came to the United States as a Jewish refugee in 1938, ultimately teaching political philosophy at the University of Chicago." www.amazon.com/gp/product/030...lance&n=283155"Michael Enright: Now if you’ve never heard the name of Leo Strauss, don’t worry, he wasn’t a household name in 1962. He wasn’t one at the time of his death in 1973. Nor is he now. But according to some, the ideas of the German-Jewish philosopher now have the effect of shaping the government of the United States, especially with the mandarins of its foreign policy and its so-called War on Terrorism. Strauss is a deeply divisive thinker, who has inspired so many followers and detractors that it’s sometimes difficult to tell them apart." www.globalpublicmedia.com/transcripts/396What are you arguing exactly? Hey Glen, why didn't you answer my question?

I think he's embarrassed. Answering your question would require him to consider the fact his post was irrelevant.
