"Einstein, being a Jew stole the Theory of Relativity from his Greek teacher, Karatheodory!" I don't know about that but I've seen two documentaries so far and I read a book claiming/proving that Einstein's wife - who was not a Jewess, I think she was a Yugo in fact, was at least as much responsible for the theory of relativity as was Einstein. Although I DID NOT read the entire contents of the link, I guess it may have something to do with Einstein's wife (who was also a brilliant physicist) as in - Albert Einstein's first work on the theory of relativity did not appear until 1905. There is substantial evidence that Albert Einstein did not write this 1905 paper on the "principle of relativity" alone. His wife, Mileva Einstein-Marity, may have been co-author, or the sole author, of the work. www.dipmat.unipg.it/~bartocci/ep6/ep6-bjerk-rec.htm

Yes, and we shouldn't discount the possibility that it was Einstein's pet poodle, Moses, either... Or perhaps Shrodinger's cat.... Everything should be looked into...

Yes, and we shouldn't discount the possibility that it was Einstein's pet poodle, Moses, either... This was not a very intelligent thing to say and certainly neither original nor funny. Einstein's Wife was a recent Australian documentary of international acclaim. Spiegel and many other popular publications ran the story. Physicists talk about it. Mileva Maric was Einstein's collaborator and physicist, poodle (by the way) was not .

Ariel Sharon supposedly said this. Or was it a Palestinian propaganda? "'Every time we do something, you tell me Americans will do this and will do that. I want to tell you something very clear: Don't worry about American pressure, we the Jewish people control America, and Americans know it" Anywho, looks like Bob Woodward is going to take down another president huh? Nixon and now Bush. Sharon could have said something like that but I wonder why would he say somehting so obvious, self-evident and well known.

Maybe what you are trying to say is that you don't like a bit of innocent fun poked at a not-so-innocent attitude.
I would be surprised if ANY expert in ANY field, married to a person who was ALSO an expert, did not collaborate or discuss with their partner.
I would also be surprised if ANY student in ANY advanced discipline was not influenced by his teacher.
The POINT, my friend, is the puerile and incessant questioning of the character of Einstein, simply because of his Jewish background, and his acceptance by popular culture as the "cleverest" man prototype - something which does not sit too well with anti-Semite activists, especially those who have failed to master even elementary numerical skills.

Agreed for the most part although I don't believe that Australians who made the Einstein's Wife documentary and all other people in the scientific community, and everybody else who raises doubt or asks questions are vile ANTISEMITES by default only because Mr. Einstein happened to be of Jewish background and they (or some of them) are not.

The simple, short things they say about Jews are what sting the most: "Jews are pushy, ugly, money-hungry, powerful." The other stuff is just arcane and convoluted.

The truth, heh! ...though not all Jews fit the stereotype. There is some truth in all stereotypes, otherwise the stereotype wouldn't exist

I'm not an anti-Semite, rather I am a person who has Jewish ancestry...but I calls 'em as I sees 'em! I believe in trying to really see how things are and not how I want to see them.

Possibly so, though not all Jews fit the stereotype. Right, Murphee (your avatar transformations are miraculous by the way). Not all Jews are powerful, pushy, arrogant, money grabbing sc...................... ---------- SAINTS! (they are going to ban me and good for them). Anyway, Jews are different (I am not an antiSemite. I am mild antiSemite and only in relation to the modern state of Israel but I am not anti semitic when it comes not people of Jewish descent), so -- of course it hurts to call someone arrogant, pushy, connected, money grabbing, rich only because he is of Jewish background while the real person is shy, struggling, lonely, and poor . On the other hand, actions of American Jews (not as individuals but as a group) fit that stereotype perfectly.

Here are some other Jewish stereotypes:
Thoughtful, brave in the face of persecution (not just from society or Nazis, but from individuals), perseverent, intelligent, resourceful, brutally honest, observant.
