hmmm - there are some good points - like the ones about isreal - but i acutally feel like a lot of the holocaust stuff is not actually made by jews.
most of the holocaust muesums like he describes in that article are visited by non-jews and nobody gets "told" to come and visit them.
He says he's not an antisemite but he says that we should be alloewd to discuss "jewish influence"...whereas in fact, we are already, but he makes a big deal about it like we're not. Of course we are, if we weren't then a lot of these antisemites would have been in jail a long time ago but they are actually looked upon by governments in a favourable light as long as they don't criticise the government themselves but just focus on Jews.
i think that basically he is trying to use legitimate points of debate to further his agenda. He is just more subtle about it than most. Some of the things he talks about such as isreal are important but most of it is just thinly disguised prejudice.

I read that article awhile ago, and skimmed it again, and I don't recall him denying he is an anti-Semite. In fact, in the preface to Culture of Critique, he admits his view on Jews has become increasingly negative, largely due to what he feels to be the Jewish influence on America's immigration policy (needless to say, White Gentiles are culpable as well). So, I understand why Jews would look at him unfavorably: who wants to say positive things about a scholar who views your ethnic group negatively? If I were a Jew, I'd definitely dislike MacDonald. But I think he has a point in that Jews, like all other groups, fight to advance their interests and sometimes these interests clash with those of others. Additionally, some people feel their group should be beyond all criticism. MacDonald is definitely prejudiced against Jews.
