This was probably the best threads that I ever read on Dodona about "horners" and their genetic distance from others put in a large context which included phenotype and racial sociology.
This is not the first time that a partcularly good thread (an entire thread!) has just disappeared. I know that the thread is gone because I quoted from it in one of my PMs.
Is there any way to recover this thread and to fix whatever bush league mistakes lead to such screw-ups?
If any of you has it archived, would you mind reposting it?

How old was it? Did you try looking in archive.org?

The post that I quoted was made on 12/31/05. So I'd say middle or end of December last year. It's not at archive.org.

Contact Dienekes. It could be either a failure in the search function or a bug that makes thread disappear. We suspect that has happened in the past. Another possibility is that it could have been a thread started by human2 and he´s known for deleting his posts. If you remove the original post from a thread, it´s very difficult to retrieve it. This is just speculation, however. Pm Dienekes.

Ghost, is it the thread from where you quoted this segment which you sent me in a PM:
To answer your question, I wanted to read that passage 'in context' but the link led me to ... no where!. The quote explains itself, I guess.

Ghost, is it the thread from where you quoted this segment which you sent me in a PM: Maybe yes, maybe no. Say, Bertercito, didn't your mother ever tell you not to post to open forum from PM without prior consent of the original sender?

My dear mother learnt me Logic; there is nothing personal in your PM, Sorry! ...

Berter their called Private Messages for a reason..posting them in the open forum without letting the other person know, can be seen as a callous act.
