I feel that this forum is too polite, too civilised and dissention adds spice to life. There are posters to this forum who just want a fight. Well, why not give them one? Also it can mean that threads that get overheated by flaming, the use of derogatory language and expletives have a place to go. It can be entertaining. Personally I think all of Said the Nigerian's posts and Nordtrotter's or nordhating Hindi could go there irregardless of content. Anyway it would save people from getting banned for being rude, hostile or racist. Afterall we are mostly grown-up and can take some negativity or hostility, can't we?

i like this messageboard sometimes, because of its diversety!there is plenty of other boards for flame wars and other petty junk (heck i post on one that is suppose to be for petty blah blah but i always get warned!!! haha)anyway,if you cant express yourself with out derogatory language then you dont belong here.thats how i see it.another thing if you have extreme views and masked by paranoind ideology let it be known dont be a coward......
side note,the more reasonable posters are the more boring it gets. graeme has a point. BUT that only means its making sense and we all know people dont want that humans crave negativty especially on the internet!!!!!!

Flies, who is a frog or lizard on this forum? I don't quite get you. I believe in free speech and I hate censorship. Pretending that bad things don't happen does not mean that bad things don't happen. I just want things to be more open and more real. I don't know where you live, but where I live there is a surfeit of kiss arse BS, PC and false civility. The threads of the racial origins of the Macedonians or the arguments about the Illyrians and Albanians or whether Southern Europeans have negro ancestory do nothing except rehash prejudices, are boring and annoy. The point is that some uncommitted readers may decide old wives tales, about the contribution of negro and arab persons to the genepool of Southern Europeans, with more thought and less uncontested acceptance. And is it not better for trolls to show themselves quickly and without any pretence?
Frankly the best thing about this forum is that most of the posters have not misrepresented themselves as Thors or Freyas or the herrenfolk. Every time I read someone's label of themselves as Nordid, I think yeah, so is Muhammad or Jack Johnson. In other words I think they are having a lend of themselves (deluded).

That message board is intended to allow uncensored argumentation for a group of people that has been "argueing" for the last 2 or 3 years. Uncensored argumentation means "politically incorrect", occasionally it may even mean "racism" or "religious intolerance", but overall it means intelligent and thought provoking arguments. Wether the posters make the best use of that freedom, that is a whole different subject. The point is that it is there (together with the 5 or 6 mods). |

I am very thick skinned and I have something a lot of people lack: a sense of humour. I am not Greek and no offense I don't want to be. If you were Australian you would understand me better - it is a case of cross cultural misunderstanding - we Australians have a dry but cutting sense of humour. I think I have been quite tolerant and polite to Said, even though he is intolerant, bigoted, a one trick pony, and misunderstands things like the need to use names to describe the different appearance of people. He doesn't like negro. What the hell! How are they to be named or described? He described himself as an African American. For my sake, he's Nigerian, an African-born American, not quite the same thing.
My suggestion for a Hell section is for the removal of threads that get off the rails, which happens sometimes. For example the Greek/Slav Macedonian thing about the ancient Macedonians or who are the real descendents of the Illyrians, the Albanians or other Balkanites or Said constant badgering about the origins of the Semitic and Hamitic language groups or the follow who claimed that Albanians were Chechens. If no Hell then the moderators should nip those threads when they go beyond reasoned discussion.

Joe Padania is a moron. As to Cortez, you take him too seriously. He is a clown, and he will always be a clown - but a completely harmless one. You don't have to apologise for being pissed at some of the stupid things that are posted in that board. Just try to realise that some posters have seniorship. Take Tony Morello: the man is a complete idiot, but he was also one of the first posters of the original board, and as such, he receives a different treatment than the one given to - say - Antonio/Abdul. Even the neo-nazi called Anon who is Arthur Kemp's faithful lackey is given some slack on account of his message board seniorship. |
