It would be nice to see a chat here... Live contact with other members and all. I am hoping that the moderators will consider this idea.

Chatting to other forum members in real-time would be an excellent idea. A private room in yahoo messenger could be set up for board members to chat on at a regular time every week or something. I think this would be the best short-term solution.

MIRC Chat could quite easily be added to a page on this website if i am not mistaken. Would be a good idea because it will tie everything into the site.

The request for Dodona Chat has been acceded. The link to the new Dodona Chat interface is as follows: dodonachat.tripod.com/You will require a Java enabled web browser to use this service. Please be aware that the chat room is an advertising-supported service provided by ParaChat™. During each user session, two separate browser windows will display in a 5-minute interval. Each window contains provider information, polls, and advertisements. You have the option to close these windows once they have displayed. In doing so, you will enjoy your ParaChat session free of banner advertisements thereafter. Unfortunately, the advertising-free service offered by ParaChat™ costs $4.59 per month. Until a better solution is found you will have to live with two pop-ups per user-session.

Whats the point of a chatroom? Well, To many it does serve no purpose. I personally like them because you can meet new people, talk current events, etc. On the bastard AOL I just got TOSed(Terms of Service) in a chat room so you can tell I enjoy them. AOL should change it's name to Communism Online for it's censorship. I have had screen names taken away because of my radical talking on AOL. Unconstitutional,as well as the rest of the Judeo-States of America.
