his photo journal titled 'Don Mccullin in Africa' is a good book featuring tribal sub or marginal strata ethiopian negroids such as the mursi, hamar, surma and other ones. this book isn't on the same scale as Leni's work, this book is a little lighter than a world atlas.
superb photography albeit staged to quite an extent, photos are in black and white; the photography is somewhat uncannily reminiscent of the way yesteryear anthropologists photographed subjects. There is a pervaisive marginal character in the photography of the people in contrast to the vibrant, healthy, vigorous exuberance evident in leni's work.
this book has an excellent collection of ethiopian negroid sub types with discernable variance from tribe to tribe and from the sub types in leni's book 'africa.'
