Usually the person with the name russo/russu has had a red-haired person in their ancestry, usually of norman or swabian descent. and Carusu means child so it probably has something to do with children.

The children of the Rus company. It's a name that occurs most frequently in port cities. I wonder how many contemplate a European people who came from Greece, who came from the Agean, and forever were tied to the Sea in life and in death, no matter who came, saw and conquered? And could only be Sicilian? |
