Do you like your health care system?
Have you been to Victoria and other parts of Vancouver Island? (I've been there several times and it is beautiful).

What's the deal with the maple leaf? I mean does a flag get gayer than that?

1. We don't have an inferiority complex; never did. We're just suspicious of America. I guess that's typical of nations bordering each other. I think I can speak for all Americans when I say that we have mixed feelings towards our northern neighbors. From your nation's loins came "Kids in the Hall." - which is good. Hey, what they've been up to? I've seen Dave Foley host Celebrity Poker and forgot where else. What about others?

Our healthcare system is the sh*t. However, the unions keep demanding higher salaries, so some provinces, like B.C. are experiencing bed closures, etc., because all of the money is going to salaries - same with the teachers, civil servants, etc. I don't want private healthcare, but a 2-tiered system, without any cut in current funding would be nice. I'd pay extra... nymos: dude, the Canadian flag is the friendliest in the world. It's certainly cooler and more respected than the flag of the country of which you are a national. Blow me.

Victoria's beautiful. But it's also got a double-size budget cause it's a provincial capital. Vancouver Island's nice but rainy.

Maybe they would prefer being an island like Australia, but being neighbour of the usa certainly tops being neighbour of Mexico

Do many Anglo-Canadians dislike the French-Canadians? At least that's the impression I've gotten.

I know Bruce McCulloch directs films now. Kevin McDonald was in that film with the kids who go to go super hero school. I forget what's called. Kurt Russel was in it. He played the father. That's sort of recent. I'm not sure what TV show or movies Scot Thompson and Mark McKinney are doing. I used to stay up just to watch "Kids in the Hall" on HBO. They put it on at around midnight. I was tired but I made a commitment to good humor
