Wasn't he born in Albania or in Southeast Europe? yes he looks Greek, but he's Italian. Maybe one of his ancestors is Greek.

Most of the time, it's hard to tell who is Greek or Italian. This happens a lot with southern Italians since centuries of interbreeding with Greeks has made them look like Greeks. In fact, southern Italians are probably genetically more closely related to the Greeks than they are to northern Italians as a whole.

Mussolini as far as I know is N.Italian. I have travelled throughout Italy and actually even in Tuscanny and Emiglia Romagna (both N.Italian regions, the second one is Mussolini's area of origin) people are strikingly similar to Greeks. The norme changes in the Torino/Milano region (NW)where population seems somewhat more depigmented.Still I personally fit right in anywhere in continental Italy (I haven't been in Sicily or Sardinia though).
