Her jaw seems to be square-like. That is typical of Alpines, UPs, etc.
When I look at that picture, I think "French". I'd say the girl is mostly Alpine.

She is/was from Palatine, Pflaz or whatever it's called in western Germany. The picture is from the 17th century, I think. I'm up for some classifications of old paintings, I hope no one gets irritated
