I've wondered this for a while, so I feel I must post it. I'm not quite sure where this should even go, so if any of the mods feel there is a better section, don't hesitate to move it. Anyway onto my point.

Here in the US, East Asians are generally considered to be the worst drivers. I haven't seen stats, so if anyone has some that can prove or disprove this, they are very welcome. If it is true, should it not follow then that the parts of Europe that are thought to have the most Mongoloid ancestry (Finland, Hungary, Russia, etc.) also have the most car accidents?

well whos to say they are bad drivers i mean they build most of the cars right(korea and japan) so whos to say we arent the ones driving bad, maybe we should all drive really slow and not signal

usually this stereotype goes towards Chinese and not other asians such as koreans, philipinos, japaense, etc.

Here in Washington, it goes toward all East Asians. Most East Asians where I live are Koreans and people most definitely associate it with them too.

I wouldn't think small towns in Washington would have a significant number of Asians/NonWhites because usually small towns in Washington and Oregon with less than 100,000 people are usually pretty lily White.

According to city-data.com, this is the racial makeup of my town. However, keep in mind that much of the population in my town in rather old (from which my English teacher has jokingly referred to Edmonds as the place "where white people go to die"), so I suspect that East Asians and other non-whites make up a larger percentage of people who are middle aged and younger.

I just found some data for my school at this page (www.publicschoolreview.com/school_ov/school_id/86328), and it seems to confirm what I said before. At my school, Asians (and I'm sure that this refers almost fully to East Asians, since there are a negligible number of South Asians at my school) are 12% of the student body, and white people are 79%. As the page shows, Asians are by far the largest minority.

Also, Edmonds isn't that small. It is suburban and just a 15 minute drive outside of Seattle.
