I never believed in any supposed Nordic Berber/Libyan.
Berbers are of Med variation and not a nordic one while it is conceivable that ancient Libyans might have been at the very least mixed with Nordics since they were described as very light haired (although this is not very likely since nordics have never been recorded to live in subtropical regions except in Australia where they have highest skin cancer cases in the world) .And to note that light hair doesn't always equate to Nordics . I think as in Southern Europe, their are light Med types in north Africa, and that is that .
Also some Berbers have the Upper Paleolithic Cro-Magnon's admixture.

By "nordic" I meant euro-looking with blond hair and blue eyes, but still, you can find pseudo-nordic in NA (agrippa spoke about that, mix saharid+cromagnoid+recombination). But that is less than 1% of the coastal Berbers, They are as you say predominantly Saharid.

Wow, Now it is question of Nordic Berbers!. Igu, you should have used 'light pigmented' instead of 'nordic'.
Well, ... Truth to the concerned: 1) Most Berbers are dark mediterranids (Capsians) as put by Grimson. 2) Light physical features (skin, hair and eyes colors) occur among berbers in extremely low frequencies like among all caucasoid nations. It is very likley that those traits were inherited from an ancient NA cromagnoid population that was assimilated by the dominating capsian core.

Sorry Dienekes; Jesus knows that I do not know what I'm writing. He will forgive me, sure!. You've just reminded me of an anecdote, 2months ago, I was going home and was a bit drunk, two guys came to me and started speaking about Jesus and all the gayish things that goes with, and then he said "Jesus loves you", I said "I'm not gay!". might not sound funny, but I just wanted to say it. I will kick the ass of everyone who will talk to me about Jesus, and religion in general!.

Guys, What Coon wanted to say is that SOME riffians are fairier than SOME iberians (the dark ones). He didnt say that ALL riffians are fairier than ALL iberians. For example, you might find a blue-eyed, red haired riffian fairier than, say, Figo the portuguese soccer player. As usual, Eufrenio knows the answer of most his questions, he just want to make a way to me. Pretty evil, imo! Berter and Igu: Coon wasn´t talking about individuals, but groups and particular tribes, like the Beni Amart. Any info on the Beni Amart?

what's the kabyle lkanguage like? is it close to Arabic at all? kabyle and riffan berber is one of the most influenced by arabic, that's why kabyle sounds more smooth than twareg language or shluh berber.

are you freebasing on crack? if the Iberian/Berber connection has any credibility its the other way around that Iberians came from berbers not berbers from iberians, how can you claim Berbers to have visigothic blood thats anochronistic

Christianity is not a religion for the "weak" or "gay". It takes a real man to stand for what is right and unpopular in this world system headed for hell. ____________________________________________ I John 3:10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.
