Ok - do you all know of the singer BRANDY? from MOESHA? erm... she did that song THE BOY IS MINE?
ok well - I saw her latest music video the other day and she had her hair in a weave (meaning that she no longer had woolly hair but long flowing black 'asian' hair) The thing that struck me is that she looked south east asian. Her eyes, her high cheek bones, her 'flat' nose....everything looked as though she could come from the phillipines or malaysia (as i'm sure they did sumthing about making her lighter in the video - they do that with janet jackson etc)
But anyway - does anyone here know what I mean? Do some negroids - if they have long NON woolly hair - look like certain groups of the mongoloid race?
(part of my study on the links between mongoloid/negroid races)

Could she get her traits from Amerindian admixture? Also, isn't Amerindian admixture common in Aframs?

hmm yeah she could have you know....
But what is there to say that she hasn't got any amerind mixture (why is it common btw lol)
There are many west africans (who i'm guessing dont even know what amerinds are!) that have the same facial features that brandy does.....

But what is there to say that she hasn't got any amerind mixture (why is it common btw lol) Its common because the two groups commonly mixed. Even I myself had a great great grandad who was an American Indian (Which I guess you could say makes me 1/16'th Native American). There is also separate Black Indian ethnic groups, separate from Black Americans and Native Americans, but a mix between the two. www.lisag.com/photos/amerie/lisa-g.-&-amerie.jpgJames Earl Jones (Most known for the voice of Darth Vader in Star Wars) is himself a black Indian.

ethiopians and somali's have soft hair - and not just the ones that have aquilline features - my aunt is ethiopian and she has quite negroid nose and mouth but her hair is soft like indian hair....

I'm pretty sure she has a weave or straitened her hair. Her brother doesn't have the flat nose or the same eyes as her.
