In which European country other than Russia is the greatest diversity in physical types among "native" (which I admit is a loaded term) populations, and most or all of the major caucasoid subraces and types are represented in sizeable numbers?
My own guess would be France, as it fairly large and lies in Alpine and Med. territory and has had large Nordic incursions around the north. But the Eastern types would be less evident. However I also think Slovenia and Croatia would have significant distributions of Dinarics, Alpines, some Meds and Neodanubians, and possibly quite a few subNordics (Noric especially), but few other Nordics and Baltics.

So "native" in this context means An arbitrary cut-off date? You all SEEM to understand what it means. I don't. Is the implication that we set the cut-off date far back enough for some process to have taken place? What process? Shall we try to find one to exclude France's current native Arabs and Britain's native West Indians? Or does native actually mean all caucasian types - including say Nordics in Greece. Are we just talking nostalgia here? Nostalgia for a period when the presumption is that new arrivals were to some extent endogamous?

I'd have to agree with France, I've seen everything from British- or at least Germanic-looking Frenchmen as well as those who look very Italian or Spanish. But let's keep in mind that France has received a considerable number of immigrants during its recent history, both European and non-European from its former colonies.

I agree , I wouldn't vote for Holland Definately UK or France Yeah, I agree with that. The UK 'native' population (as in those who would identify as 'White British') seems very diverse to me. I've heard many times about Britain being a country that's been invaded / received immigrants etc. over the last few millenia, ignoring of course 20th century immigration (I think mostly Danish, Norweigians, French, Dutch, Irish). Also I think there's people in Wales who are like related to people from the Basque region in Spain, something like that anyway.
