When I've seen SSA mix with Caucasoid, you get a blend of the two and sometimes an totally different type of person that appears med, EIndian,or "other".
When Mongloid genes are mixed with SSA, tends to look more Asian than SSA.
SSA traits usually "fade" by the 2nd generation(quadroon) when mixed whereas Mongloid traits remain-usually milder but still obvious as with Kimora Lee Simmon's 1/4 Asian children still look SE Asian.

Plus her hubby is a light black man of mixed heritage. I think SE Asians, in certain regions, just have a lot of "negrito" blood, for example. So, her kids just look 1/4 black but that happens to be the same as a SE Asian look. www.peoplesoftheworld.org/aeta/images/01-1-15-20-pkr64.jpgwww.leidenuniv.nl/cml/pmo/general_information/people1.jpgWhen they intermarry out, they start to be indistinguishable from other SE Asians.. mainstream.. other Aeta homepage2.nifty.com/munesuke/aeta-2nd-marriage.JPG

It makes for a very unique appearance IMO, one you can't quite place often times. Don't Filipinos and Indonesians have even higher rates of admixture from the so-called "Negrito" peoples? Or is this totally off?

Russell Simmons doesn't look mixed, he looks 100% African-American, this is his brother, Run, from Run Dmc on the far left Doesn't look mixed at all. Kimora Lee Simmons, Russell Simmons' wife, is mixed however, one of her parents is black.

My guess is that all three men pictured above have some admixture, although they are predominantly Negroid. I say this because of their skin tone. They don't have the very dark skin tone of native West Africans. Being Americans, chances are very high that there is Caucasoid and/or Amerind admixture.

Or is this totally off? Ah that's hard to say.. SE history and prehistory is very complex. The Phillippines was most liekly settled by Austronesians from Taiwan and a place like Cambodia was settled from SW China. According to Coon, if we can still use him, Cambodia was still very "Australoid" (wutever that measn.. it has no meaning for me since these various peoples have been separate for 50,000 years) until very recently. Chinese accounts confirm this with what seems to be descriptions of "negritos". In that scenario, the modern Cambodians are mainly descendants of Chenla, which was north of what is now Cambodia.

^Ah ok. Thanks for the info. So the Khmers of Cambodia are primarily descended from immigrants who came from southern China?

Cambodians are the result of mixture between Southern Mongolid branches coming over Southern China and local people of Weddoid and Negritid type. Europids came too - but very limited, mainly Indids.

For the longest time, I didn't know Kimora Lee Simmons was half black. I'm sure there are Asian countries that she can fit into.
