Remember in Spaceballs when Mel Brooks keeps making bad puns between the princess and the stereotype of the "Jewish American Princess"?

Of course, "Vespa" is Latin for "Wasp" [as in the acronym White Anglo Saxon Protestant].

During the course of the movie, though, Brooks has several characters point out that the very Aryan-looking Daphne Zuniga's character is not as "Waspish" as her name and looks suggest. At one point, his Yoda character says, "Drewish? Funny! She doesn't look Drewish!"

But then Princess Vespa is mortified when a photo of her--pre-cosmetic surgery--pops up:

You daughter looks med, but doesnt strike me as particularly from same country or place, it is hard to guess little kids, and girls are even harder.

This is me from my third grade school-picture. My face looks odd because my adult teeth just came in. Otherwise, I think I look remarkably like my daughter.
