I think he fully belongs to some type that's typical for Middle-Eastern Jews. Perhaps a mix of Armenoid, East-Med and some other med strains.

He is partially descended from Yugoslavian Jews. I thought he looked like a Cro-Magnoid Montenegrin type. I don't know any Jews personally, I think I never seen any in my country, but I'd hardly mistake that guy for a Montenegrin.
Perhaps his Jewish family never mixed with other Yugoslavians.
