Is anyone able to explain these results ? I think you might have mistaken some measurements. Post your picture, or send it to me, so I can post it, and we'll discuss this. The 'plates' I got were an Irishman, and some Spaniards, yet, I live in Serbia

Very interesting, this is what I came up with....mind you I have a freakin huge melon.
Your cephalic index is: 72.7 (dolichocephalic) Your height/length index is: 88.6 (hypsicephalic) Your height/breadth index is: 121.9 (acrocephalic) Your facial index is: 83.3 (euryprosopic) Your upper facial index is: 50 (euryene) Your nasal index is: 54.5 (hyperleptorrhine) Your estimated endocranial volume is: 2337 cc (aristencephalic) Your estimated brain weight is: 2294 gr
Euclidean Distance Mahalanobis Distance Cosine Similarity Proto-Europoid: 26 20 0.53 Mediterranoid: 57 120 -0.5 Alpinoid: 32 44 0.39 Irano-Nordoid: 42 76 -0.17 Dinaroid: 43 53 -0.15
Your classification is Proto-Europoid (using Euclidean distance), Proto-Europoid (using Mahalanobis distance), and Proto-Europoid (using Cosine similarity).
According to Euclidean Distance: You are metrically closest to Plate 34, Figure 1 (distance = 16) You are metrically furthest from Plate 43, Figure 1 (distance = 92)
According to Mahalanobis Distance: You are metrically closest to Plate 6, Figure 3 (distance = 12) You are metrically furthest from Plate 21, Figure 5 (distance = 205)
According to Cosine Similarity: You are metrically closest to Plate 34, Figure 1 (similarity = 0.84) You are metrically furthest from Plate 43, Figure 2 (similarity = -0.806)
Does this sound right? I did and redid my measurements about five times getting pretty close results each time except where I fixed bad measuring tech. I used calipers made from stiff cardboard. Hardly scientific but the best I could do for now. My brain weight seems too high, not that you will ever hear me denying that my brain is huge ;D but it just seems too high.
I am not really sure what Proto-Europoid really is, sorta have the idea but not too clear. I do look a good deal(as far as shape of head and features) like the plate 34 image 1

I have to say that the endocranial volume seems to be way off. I know Awar has a big head, but such a large volume! It is unnatural.
I was classed as Irano-Nordid. Don't know what it means? I feel I should call Hindi brother. The pictures are very odd. Mine were an Alpinid from Bohemia, an Atlanto-Med from Midi and a Med reemergent man from Yankee USA. The Frenchman looks like he could be my brother. Physically though I am very broad chested/broad shouldered. I am only 176 cm tall.

Does anyone know where I can view the various plates that are quoted in the Racial Analysis? The legioneuropa website does not work.

Hello, found this test to be very interesting but I´m not sure if I´m doing the count correctly.
When I´m doing the head breath, byzigomatic, head high and so on...should I take a messuring tape and follow the lines of my head or measure it detached from it? Better a ruling board or a measuring tape? Following one´s head makes the figures be bigger.
How should I take the measurements? Right now when using the tape I get warnings that all my figures are to high but then I get classified as Proto Europeid which makes kind of sense being from Sardinia. Help!
Your cephalic index is: 90.3 (hyperbrachycephalic) Your height/length index is: 61.3 (orthocephalic) Your height/breadth index is: 67.9 (tapeinocephalic) Your facial index is: 53.6 (hypereuroprosopic) Your upper facial index is: 32.1 (euryene) Your nasal index is: 90.9 (platyrrhine) Your estimated endocranial volume is: 5258 cc (aristencephalic) Your estimated brain weight is: 5405 gr
Euclidean Distance Mahalanobis Distance Cosine Similarity Proto-Europoid: 1260 3642 0.87 Mediterranoid: 1607 4827 -0.8 Alpinoid: 1399 4179 0.53 Irano-Nordoid: 1522 4514 -0.54 Dinaroid: 1442 4190 0.12

Sardu, you cannot take these measurements directly by using a measuring tape. Ideally a caliper of the type shown in the image below, should be used to take the measurements. Ofcourse, not everyone has access to such an instrument, therefore, several methods of taking measurements have been devised. One is to make take a mould of your head using a piece of aluminium foil and then measure the distances on the mould using a ruler. I have found this method did not work well for me. A better method is to ask a second person to measure your head by using a ruler and marking a piece of paper on which your head is placed. Measurements such as the head breadth, head length, bigonial, nasal height, upper facial height and total facial height can be taken in this manner. For measurements such as the bizygomatic, minimum frontal, nasal breadth and head height, an improvised caliper type instrument needs to be devised! You can make one of these by using cardboard, or by using 3 rulers, although the measurement accuracy may not be so good. It might be best to use the first method by getting a second person to measure you. I hope this helps.

Finaly I think I have a good measurement of my skull! I asked for someone to measure my skull (that call me CRAZY)
(I edit AGAIN that post after the correct measurements, I inserted a wrong value at the wrong place)
Warning, entered head height appears to be too high Warning, entered upper facial height appears to be too high I have a LOONG face!

proto-europoid? I guess that is correct I am primitive...
I have only 176 cms and I am shorter than most of my friends (Lisbon region), I am taller (much taller) than allmoust all older portuguese persons...
I guess milk drinking habits is having tremendous effect on the average portuguese height (at least in Lisbon)

everything is primitive on me... lol

Hmm, I could find out my racial classifications. I was wondering for some time now would it apply to modern multi or quad European for me? Measuring is a pain so I would not feel like doing that.
