To me he looks like a cross between Nordic and Brunn. Something like an Anglo-Saxon. Maybe he's from northern Germany, near Holland.

I absolutely agree. Rommel definitely has a Celtic strain, and he does look like Ed Harris (something that I had never realised). Rommel had a somewhat brachycephalic head, something that most people wouldn't believe if they saw him with his officer's hat.

Hmmm... I'd classify Ed Harris as Faelid. Your right about ed harris, I certainly can see borreby traits. I saw this film called 'Enemy at the gates' where he plays a German and I thought he looked like Rommel. Rommel has a british look about him and had a movie star charisma, in the war he was almost as popular with the British and Australian soldiers in North Africa as he was with his own troops.
