Let's see who gets the closest answer. Classify this guy and guess where he's from: here

Israeli Mediterranean? He's too dark to be a regular Serb or Montenegrin, so I'm saying he's a bit south of here

I agree he looks israeli (although they usually have bigger noses than him), but no, he's not. Good guess though! Remember that people may look darker or lighter skinned than they really are because of the light, and they may be tan, or exceptionally pale, according to the climate or their health. So head shape, traits and hair are more objective criterea. By the way, his eyes are light brown. Israeli Mediterranean? You told me the exact same thing I was telling others on another forum I'm aware that pigmentation is not the key to classification of the sub-racial type, but it's pretty good to guess the location where the subject lives. You can relax, I'm not a racist

Looking at this picture[ www.geocities.com/hardcorepunkoi/3.jpg ], he looks like a brazilian mullato. I didn't want to offend. maybe this picture is bad. But in the others pictures. he certainly don't look like a mullato.

See what I mean? This particular photo looks darker and has more yellow in it, so despite our subject having straight hair, a small nose, light brown eyes (additional information, not visible on the pics), thin lips and overal caucasian traits (look at his profile picture - another very dark and bad one, by the way), he gave HerrX the impression of being mulatto. That´s the cultural thing I was talking about that makes people consider skin color over more important factors. After all, we first learn that there are "black" people, not "african" or "congoid", and "white people", not "european" or "caucasian". Although there obviously are objective factors in race classification, the cultural/subjective methods of classification are more important to the average person. More emphasis on skin color than it really deserves is just one example. But there are other ways for it to happen. For instance, to many, (specially old) people in countries like Sweden, Italians, Greeks and other south Europeans are not white, and indeed are considered to be of an entirely different race, while they´re not. Also, a blond Cuban in the U.S. is considered by the average white person as a member of a different race (hispanic), while dark Sicilians, like for instance, actors Joe Mantegna or Chaz Palminteri are considered to be their fellow whites. That´s a pretty interesting thing. Looking at this picture[ www.geocities.com/hardcorepunkoi/3.jpg ], he looks like a brazilian mullato. I didn't want to offend. maybe this picture is bad. But in the others pictures. he certainly don't look like a mullato.

No... it wasn't the skincolor... it was the head shape.

There's nothing visibly mulatto about this guy. He looks like a med to me, dolichocephalic, or maybe mesocephalic. His skin gives him kind of a middle eastern look, but his face doesn't look semitic. Also, you can see through the pics that he's very western in lifestyle (playing electric guitar). But I would say he's Israeli, Moroccan or iberian (Portuguese/Andalucian). Maybe Sicilian or Greek. By the way, do brazilian mulattos have a distinct head shape? I'm asking that because lots of black africans have similar cephalic indexes to europeans, and therefore it would make no sense for a mix of the two to have a different head shape.
