The problem is not picture versus link, most of us post with a link, my problem is that I cannot see the picture because the link leads me to an empty briefcase.  |

He looks Greek. Especially his wide jaw.

If not Greek, maybe from the area of Thrace. It's interesting that I posted a photo from the same period just now, I think one of the guys in my photo somewhat resembles this soldier in question, but that guy is French.. hmm, now I'm confused  |

He looks Greek. Especially his wide jaw. He was Greek. He is my late maternal grandfather, Theodoros Alimisis (dig the surname). He passed away in September 2003, at age 90, in his native Pallandion, Greece. His jaw is wider than his forehead, which Coon stated is a "Greek specialty". |

His facial features somewhat resemble Yourkas Seitaridis of PAO.  I think Seitaridis has epirotan and pontic ancestry.He is the best right fullback of europe in this age,i wish he was playing for AEK. |
