From Ilsaraceno:
He is an unusually swarthy Mediterranean -- I have seen other pics of Sicilians and most are not as dark as him, although it could just be that this particular actor likes the outdoors a lot.

i agree he is quite dark and his looks are berbersque like! but even when he is untanned he looks swarthy and he still looks berber ! he is reflecting his saracen genes obviously! his parents are 100% sicilian from palermo sicily which is northwest sicily! Ciao

How about posting someone you haven't already posted a million times? Of course, LoVerso has no Saracen ancestry to speak of. That's ridiculous. He's just a normal Italian-looking Mediterranean who's often deeply tanned. In this photo, he's less tanned:

In that particular photo, Loverso could *easily* pass for a Palestinian. It doesn't have anything to do with how dark he is, really...it's his features. And I know, believe me.

Yes, he is unusually swarthy for a Mediterranean. Plus there is gradation from Southern Euros to Middle Eastern types -- this doesn't mean they are the same, there is just a cline. This means that some Middle Easterners (although not a lot) can pass for European (some even have light hair and eyes, and European faces) and some Southern Europeans (again, not a lot) can pass for Middle Easterners. Then again, many Southern Europeans can pass for Central Europeans, and some can pass for Nordic (and vice versa).
Personally, although I acknowledge there is genetic affinity between Mideast types and Southern Euros, I do not consider them a part of my ingroup based on the amount of "non-White" DNA they have.
I have yet to see any evidence showing that Sicilians, as a whole, genetically cluster outside the European grouping.

Loverso's a white guy. Don't get too frustrated with Tony's obsessions.

Pronounced Med. Berber ancestry cannot be entirely ruled out, but he appears more strictly Aryan Med (Eg Italic Indo-European). Definitely not Arab, still less any Congoid influence.

Well sure, but that means little as modern Palestinians can be anything from Dark Mulato (is it just me or does Palestine seem to have a growing Sudanese "illegal alien" problem?) through Semetic to Med White or occasionally even Nordic White.
