they have a kick ass church (I mean the architecture) 15 minutes from the buenos aires international airport, someone told my brother that they (the mormons) have the greatest genealogy database of argentina, so , If in the future I want some info I may visit them.

In my opinion Orthodoxy has the most powerful kharisma because the Patriarchal power of Orthodoxy has something pristine and humble to it. As far as I am concerned, I do not want to see women with makeup and uncovered hair hopping around in churches.
I think in a theological scene Jehovah's Witnesses are probably the most honest Christians.

I think in a theological scene Jehovah's Witnesses are probably the most honest Christians. lol, or the most naïve. The Catholics and Orthodox are like, "Look, we wrote half of the damned thing--we know it's not literally true."

The Mormons currently have a lot of Mexican-Americans in their ranks. In Salt Lake City, there are many of them.

Don't the Mormons look up to somebody named John Smith ? ::cough:: Joseph Smith. There's a ton of Mormons at my school in Florida.

The most appealing is the "Children of God" of Moses David Berg Brandt, that preached free love & sex, no war, flower power, all hippies making love... Unfortunately, that sect was banished! (While islam, that preaches holy war, infibulation, no beer, no wine, women completely covered, and all sorts of prohibitions is admitted!!!!) What a crazy world is it!

I guess "The Children of God" are the Christian form of Rajneeshies.

Eastern Orthodox seems like the most appealing to me.

Though I'm not Christian at all, I'd say Catholic or Orthodox. They have beautiful old churches and I find their rather grave music such as Gregorian chants to be very fascinating. Though I don't know much about Orthodox Christianity since I've never been in an Orthodox church. Though sometime I think I'd like to visit one of the Greek or Russian Orthodox churches in Seattle and see what it's like. In fact, I'd like to do that with all kinds of religions. So far, I've only been in Catholic churches, a few Protestant churches, and one Laotian Theravada Buddhist temple. Also, a question for the Orthodox Christians here: as an outsider, how would my presence be received at an Orthodox mass?

Mormons aren't that bad. All that I've met have been friendly and not all that keen on delivering hellfire sermons to outsiders. They do have a wacky religion, and they do go from door to doo like the JWs, but they're no where near as crazy and fanatical as those Witness bastards. not as crazy?!?! at least JWs dont convert u after u been dead for more than 20 years..........friggin mormons go around converting dead folk its a scary thought

But still, not as f*cked up and crazy as JWs. Mormons have crazy beliefs but they are generally laid back people (except for those crazy Mormon sects with 14 wives) and live semi-normal lives. JWs are basically in a cult. www.davidgladden.com/jw/images/km0802p3.jpg

A Protestant church that stresses both "conservative" and "liberal" teachings would be the most appealing Christian sect to me. I can't think of a denomination like this off the top of my head. That's one reason that I haven't found a church that meets all of my needs. American denominations tend to be divided more by politics than by religion now.
