The best way to get rid of the american cowboy aggression towards the world is to expand Buddhism as the official religion of America. Then this now most hated in the world country will become a planetary spiritual centre and will be used from then on for the growing of herbs to provide the rest of the world, thus the population returning to their f*cking farms and stop trying to create deadlier and more efficient killing methods and weapons in their labs.
What do you think?
Join the movement!

What do you think? Join the movement! I think that it's too foar of a stretch. It has a lot to do with the national character of the Americans. A touchy, enterprising, and defiant people who think that imaginary rights are more important than social order, and that secular progress is the "best" progress. There's lots of annoying nutcases in America, simply because the culture there doesn't promote moderation. On the one hand, you have the religious idiots who think that the world was created in 7 days and is only 5,000 years old. On the other, you have liberal idiots who think that there's no such thing as race, etc. The American mind, I believe would have a hard time adapting to Buddhist processes. I knew several American "pseudo-Buddhists", but they knew nearly nothing of the Sutras, and had only converted to Buddhism because they percieved it to be "nihilistic" (and thus more 'morally tolerant' than Christianity). As of now, I think that America's fine with Christianity, but it would have to be reformed.

Virtually all sects of Buddhism are well-represented and growing. Omegaspan would do well to learn more about the Dharma and to calm his agitated mind

In all seriosuness if you're not sure what reality is I suggest conductinig a simple test. Sit on the train tracks and meditate. If you survive I'll visit you in the hospital and we can discuss reality further. Or you can sit at home and mediate until you get hungry. That usually snaps people back into reality.
