Since this section brings up the topic of God (and what not) what are your thoughts about the possibility of Alien life? Are we alone?

I think that there is alien life, but it is not like people usually imagine - green humanoids etc. I think that in other planets live perhaps bacterias or some other kinds of low developed and not so complicated form of life. If there really somewhere in the cosmos outside Earth exist highly developed form of life, then it is very, very, very far away from our planet and people never will discover it.

I believe we are not alone... In fact i believe its quite probable that all we are (humans), are an alien experiment. Think about it, if we had the capability now to start life on mars we would. We establish plant life and bacteria & other organisms. We then get bored and introduce more complex species. Experiment with crazy giant reptilian beings. Then think hey, wouldnt it be cool to put a variation of us on the planet (god created us in his own image?)... hmm... they probably wouldnt survive with some of the giant reptiles we've created. ok we'll destroy them, then introduce our humanoids. Once thats done we'll watch their progress visting them every so often & once they start the primitive form of communication called writing, they will record some of our visits & refer to us as "Angels" & "god(s)" & yada yada yada.
You kinda get what i mean. Thats my attempt at viewing religion & aliens from a logical point of view.

It's impossible to say. One of the main problems in thinking about possible "alien" life is the lack of understanding about such occurrences as spontaneous generation. All predictions are conjectures, meager conjectures at that. The origin of life is probably the most profound happenings in all of science, and simultaneously, the least understood.
