I think what Syriano is saying, is something like this : capitalistic societies tend to turn atheist, because in those societies people suffer little material need and thus have no 'need' for God. It's just 'shop shop shop' and if worst comes to worst, you can go on welfare. That's a bit more specific than 'capitalism', though. The world has always had rich people, managers and merchants but didn't have much atheism. Most people would refer to this as consumerism. no that's not what I meant people turn away from religion because most of the time it's taught wrong (or un taught at all) as in capitalistic society, imeant you have to work and consume. religion is bad for capitalism. ok say you are a good jew. your religions says you should not take advantage of people (ie cheap labour and such), or you are not allowed to sell bad things or whatever. you have to admit many things in capitalism are immoral (which relions prohibit), and that can cause bad economic results blah am alittle tired now I'll try to explain tommorow if you don't get what I mean |

it really puzzels me how people can be athiests. how can life with all it's complexity be just a little random thing? Those are useless questions, they are a hobby for bored people : philosphers. The main question to ask is this one: are these Jewish religions sent by god (if god exists): No, are they helpful for the emancipation of my people?: No. and how do you know the answer is no? |

Those are useless questions, they are a hobby for bored people : philosphers. The main question to ask is this one: are these Jewish religions sent by god (if god exists): No, are they helpful for the emancipation of my people?: No. and how do you know the answer is no? Well, there qre tons of evidence : -We are are cousins with chimps. -We think with our brains not with our hearts. -Jesus failed to save the jews (he's not the messiah) , Jesus said that there will be no one after him (false prophets, then mohamed is a false prophet), and muslims worship a cubic stone. ....etc.....etc....etc. BTW, Jews are still waitin for the messiah ;D Message to the messiah from the jews: "you don't need to come, we were a bit in a hurry so we've done your job in 1948". |

I believe #1 is not proven (it's just a theory) 2- I don't think is relevant 3- we were taught that Jesus would come to save the believers and kill the antichrist I don't think Jesus said that there will be no prohpet after him. we believe that Mohammad came because people changed the bible after Jesus was gone (same why jesus was sent after Mosses) finally muslims don't worship the kaabaa btw, I am not an extrimist type of person. like you in my family they don't wear the scarf, but somethings you said Idon't agree with. so I had to say my view |
