There is no study that say Arab have that much ,it only say Yemen ,this caused by yemeni sample (of 115 persons) taken from country of Kuwait ! ,(which indicate to me that it is not accurate survey) .However without genetic study , Yemen does have 15% Afro-Arabian , constitute one of traditional social castes ,they are not Negroid or Athiopoid they are just arab with African admixture . A larger study of the Arabian is with 389 samples shows only 10% African mt-DNA . Thats very intresting Zain well it looks to me like a "test" that only comprises 115 samples is a highly suspicous test to determine who and what the Arabs are racially speaking even for just the Yemenis! As they say there are lies,damm lies and Statistics!!! About the afro-arabs do they look Arab or negroid or do they have a varied phenotype? How is one classed as a member of the afro-arab caste say an arab has one black ancestor from 200 years ago for instance would he automatically become a member of that caste in Yemeni society then?  |

Of course he will be consider an arab ,we don't go by one drop of blood rule (in pre Islamic time , son of an arab from a slave mother is consider a slave ,not an arab, if you heard the story of Anter ben shadad ,a lover ,and a slave who straggle to get recognition from his arab father ) .
The Afro-Arabian caste most likely formed by gradual Yemeni refuge coming from east-Africa .So they end up in the non-tribal lower caste of Yemen .Yemeni withdraw back from east Africa was proposed by some archeologists ,because they did not have a peaceful settlement there ,they were in clash with non-Semitic (the Cushitic) .
Negroid look (i.e Bantu and sub-Sahara)are very recent in south Arabia ,when the arab discover a road to the shore of south east Africa ,to Kenya, Tanzania ,and Uganda (that region is called Swahil(swa7l , also their language is called Swahili ,the word Swahil mean shores ,or seaside in arabic)
those Negroid looking in south Arabia are from the Swahil ,they don't look Ethiopian ,or Somalian .before the Swahil most African influence in Arabia were athiopoid type.
