Well more like the one country that most Europeans have no beef with.
Italy? Good music, food, language, other than WWII has not been an agressor for a very long time.....

Unfotunately, this survey does not include many southern European nations, but it does give part of the picture.
I am quite sure (in fact I am positive) that this worldview.org establishment is American and presents view of the world favourable to the American scum. Eurobarometer of the Eurostat had recently conducted a country by country study of attitudes toward different nations, and which nation is the threat to world peace (the most unfavourable). I think the worst perceived countries were United States and Israel but I have to look it up first.

EUROBAROMETER - in essence who is the enemy? What nation presents a THREAT to world (and to EU). or to put it differently what are the most UNFAVO/U/RABLE nations. European view, state by state - all EU members (2003 Eurobarometer), or how and what percentage of EU nationals, by nation, perceives other countries:

Sandwich, interestingly enough majority of Brits (55%) believe America is the threat (i.e. is the enemy).

Thanks for the consolation Berschneider, but I find it quite upsetting that 18% of Brits consider the EU a major threat. Perhaps worldview is a US financed org, I don't know. But I don't think your table really shows ennemies just "fouteurs de bordel". Anyway, one way of thinking about this interesting question is where EU citizens might like to live if not in their own country. The English middle-classes clearly prefer France and Italy, and I was disappointed to read a survey long ago that if the French couldn't live in la belle France, they would choose ... Switzerland. As for finding other nations sympatico, a lot of that will be down to personal contacts and experiences. I guess Greeks are quite popular everywhere.

Well, judging by the Eurobarometer survey and considering that pro-American propaganda is strong in all EU nations (and we have to give Israel a discount because it is in a warlike zone), it is amazing that most Europeans actually see the truth and realize that the United States is their enemy. Worldview.org is an American outfit. British attitude toward France is best illustrated by the number of British families moving to France and by the ongoing real estate boom in rural France that is primarily of British origins. Ryanair and similar airlines are catering to seemingly insatiable appetites Brits have for France and all things French. Greeks are cool. I guess few people have reasons to dislike Icelanders either.
