I have seen in certain threads the use of various "classificatory" terms which end in the suffix "id" or "oid". I sometimes wonder whether these are made up, especially when I see such terms as "kafrid" "bantuid" etc, as I have in the post on Nelson Mandela. Does anybody else share my reservations concerning these terms? Would anybody like to clarify them for me, as at the moment they seem to be random and broad ethnic terms with academic sounding suffixes attached to them by agents unknown, for unknown purposes.

there is a lot of confusion in using this suffixs. I think that Europid refers to the main racial brand, and Europoid to a "tendency" to the physical features of europid race. The same for the subraces: nordid, and nordoid, mediterranid, or mediterranoid... But we can also use nordic for nordid, and mediterranean for mediterranid.
