^^According to yourself, you know everything so whats the point of arguing with you?. You miss the point. I don't know. I am asking but I am not getting an answer from you. As a starting point I need to know this. What happens to women in Somalia who do not "dress properly?" Answer straight up. It's simple. See this is your other big problem and I would never permit your culture from superceding mine. I would never let your understanding of what men and women are into my culture. My sons have been taught in my culture's understanding of what it means to be a Western Woman in the 21st Century, and how to treat and respect women in my culture. You know what's really shitty, stupid, obnoxious and completely contemptable? And yet, really pitifull? You assume that I am a man. And you can't for the life of you answer a simple question so that I may know more about your culture. Write it down here and now. Confess this bondage of yours.

To my first boyfriend:
The screen door slams Mary’s dress sways Like a vision she dances across the porch As the radio plays Roy orbison singing for the lonely Hey that’s me and I want you only Don’t turn me home again I just can’t face myself alone again Don’t run back inside Darling you know just what I’m here for So you’re scared and you’re thinking That maybe we ain’t that young anymore Show a little faith, there’s magic in the night You ain’t a beauty, but hey you’re alright Oh and that’s alright with me
You can hide `neath your covers And study your pain Make crosses from your lovers Throw roses in the rain Waste your summer praying in vain For a savior to rise from these streets Well now I’m no hero That’s understood All the redemption I can offer, girl Is beneath this dirty hood With a chance to make it good somehow Hey what else can we do now? Except roll down the window And let the wind blow Back your hair Well the night’s busting open These two lanes will take us anywhere We got one last chance to make it real To trade in these wings on some wheels Climb in back Heaven’s waiting on down the tracks Oh-oh come take my hand Riding out tonight to case the promised land Oh-oh thunder road, oh thunder road oh thunder road Lying out there like a killer in the sun Hey I know it’s late we can make it if we run Oh thunder road, sit tight take hold Thunder road
Well I got this guitar And I learned how to make it talk And my car’s out back If you’re ready to take that long walk From your front porch to my front seat The door’s open but the ride it ain’t free And I know you’re lonely For words that I ain’t spoken But tonight we’ll be free All the promises’ll be broken There were ghosts in the eyes Of all the boys you sent away They haunt this dusty beach road In the skeleton frames of burned out chevrolets
They scream your name at night in the street Your graduation gown lies in rags at their feet And in the lonely cool before dawn You hear their engines roaring on But when you get to the porch they’re gone On the wind, so mary climb in It’s a town full of losers And I’m pulling out of here to win.

That is one of my very favorite Bruce Springsteen songs, along with "Wreck on the Highway."

^^You dont seriously expect me to comment on that piece of shit you just wrote do you? Here goes: Yes, you win.. I lose.. Whatever floats your boat Eintstein. Win? No. Amazing how you find nothing wrong with a photo of a nude woman as a response to a woman and call yourself a Muslim, unless you don't, which still doesn't negate the fact that it doesn't take a traveler or Einstein to know what's going on here. Maybe you'll get that "existential" moment. Maybe enlightenment. Maybe you'll answer this direct question: What happens to women who don't dress properly in certain Muslim countries.? Do they get bad press? Is that what you mean by the press and stereotypes? I don't need to win. I just want to know Oh no, not a feminist, yuck!!!

Whats the deal with feminism anyway? Hard to say, anymore. I guess it was about the equality of women back in the 60's and 70's. Now it's more like an academic term- professors see it as a school of thought focusing around women's issues in history, anthropology, etc.

Can you point me in the right direction? I suppose a quick look says white American women+black+hispanic+other American women is greater in absolute numbers that black American men plus any other affirmative action groups of men, I'd say your right. Personally, women tend to be more vocal. Don't go off thinking they aren't whining for you as well. Mothers, daughters, lovers and any other women you may call part of your life. Mercy is my angel.

You have a point there, maybe Ethiopians are their own race. But some do show recent admixture. Caucasians apparently range from Swedes to Bengalis, but Ethiopians are a distinct race of their own? What kind of haphazard classification is this? Studies reveal South Asians are their own race as well. With west and east asian influences. Well, African Americans vary widely in phenotype. You´re comparing apples with oranges.

Yep, I agree completely. South Asians are largely their own group, with admixture from other sources depending on the region.

In Russia, they call people from the Caucasus region (like Armenians, Georgians, Chechens, etc) as "black", even though (to me) they only look slightly darker

I know what it is, but lets not confuse black with Negroid. What is it? Do you have some kind of definition? Never answered my question. :shakes head:
