these pictures are all modern idealized renditions,
basically suppositions

I said that before but just want to remind you that Nazis claimed Jesus to be half germanic (his father wandered to Middle East with one of germanic tribes) The reason for that, I believe, was to justify the existence of Christianity in Germany and Europe. They couldn't fully defeat it so tried to build it into their racial theories. I saw only one reconstruction of Jesus face. He looked like the guy in Yigal's post but was much more round-skulled (QVP where are you?  ) |

I do not think too many people would pay money to see a film about Jesus featuring a Jesus that actually looked Jewish after having the likes of Hunter, Powell and von Sydow. Come on!

What do you people think about the man I posted? Regardless of Jesus skin color or phenotype, my guess is that his facial expression was completely different from the man you posted. |
