 Should you as an individual be proud of caucasian, negro or mongoloid accomplishments? Should you be equally ashamed when theres intra-racial strifes (civil wars, genocides, holocausts)? Should you be proud of your race's accomplishments more than your own personal accomplishments? Should you feel ashamed of your race's short comings more than your own? and so on...

You should be proud of what race you belong to, but actually race isn't that important in an accompishment sense. Swedes shouldn't be able to claim Egyptian or Arab accomplishments as their own. Just as those same Egyptians and Arabs don't feel pride in the British monarchy. I think it would be smarter to break things down into a subracial (Mediterranean, Dinaric, Nordic, Aethopid etc.), regional (Middle Eastern, North African, East African, Eastern Med, Western Med, Baltic, Central Euro, etc. etc.) and finally an ethno-national sense (Berber, Egyptian, Arab, Levantine, I also think people from Arabic-speaking countries, who aren't of ARab ethnicity can feel a connection). A racial designate is far too broad. You need to bring things down to a more localized level to feel any sort of connection.

I'm not proud over something I haven't accomplished myself. Of course, I can feel a certain pride if someone I'm very close to does something great, but taking pride in what "my" people did 2000 years ago? I don't know, it's too far back in time for me to be able to relate to.

Its ok to look back on certain cultures and periods of history with pride, but going around chest-pounding about ‘Mediterranean’, ‘Alpish’, ‘Aethiopid’ and ‘Negroid’ pride is absurd. It normally elevates to one group claiming superiority over the other or claims of being better. |

I agree with the others. I don't think that you should feel pride or shame based on your "group". Those feelings should be based upon what *you* have done as an individual. That's the main reason that I'm not a big fan of ethnic pride, but there's nothing wrong with appreciating your own culture.

I could put this question down as a foolish one. Unfortunately it isn't because indeed there are many dumbnuts who pride them with their ancestors.

-If I had a negroid or mongloid ancestor, I would feel a strong connection to what he was and had done.. in other words race doesn't matter for me, But Culture matters.
-I feel proud of what my fellows and ancestors have done and feel ashamed of their cowardness. I consider those who don't feel this feeling as degenerated people.

I think vice versa. Feeling proud and boasting about something you did not accomplished ist degenerated nationalism, which i despise very deeply.

It is restricted to Kabyles in Algeria... and thanks to our Islam-Hatred we constitute 70% of Algerian Berbers, in 20 years time we will constitute 100% of Algerian Berbers, the others will become Arabs as the last 40 years have proven: a very good example, the Chawis (less muslim than arabs, but more muslim than Kabyles): -in 62, they did not know how to sepak arabic. -in 2005, they speak only arabic, although in isolated areas they still speak Berber. As you can see, I'm just perpetuating a Kabyle-Berber tradition that kept us from being culturally anihilated. Kabyle political parties are nevertheless politically correct, they are secularist (FFS and RCD), and 90% of Kabyles vote for them... the rest are some betrayers who live like hypocrites among the Kabyle population.
