Being Sicilian-American,I identified myself as an Aquilonian! I was always more a Conan the Barbarian fan myself...

It's funny, I have almost always identified with as being a non caucasoid person. That's the way it's percibed in the US for me.
But, hmmm, when you're over a foot taller and maybe 5 or 6 shades lighter skinned than most of the people you're associated with, it makes you wonder sometimes.

Mike the Briton does the Ameircan public consider you white I understand that you are part Greek? They do indeed. I have always identified and been identified as a white man. But I've always felt like a pale, black-haired Gondorian in the midst of ruddy, straw-headed Rohirrim, if you get the LOTR reference. LOL, excellent way of putting it. As a half-Sicilian I've also felt the same way at times. However, at least here in western PA, we have a large number of people of southern/eastern European ancestry, and even some Syrians/Lebanese. Still though, I've always been accepted as a white guy and consider myself as such. Anyone who wouldn't is most likely an ardent redneck/Neo-Nazi.
