Well before everyone starts ranting and raving about superiority vs. inferiority, I'll say it has to do with environment. From early childhood we in western society , now even the rest of the world, are bombared with the imagery of beauty in the form of a Eurocentric female that has radiated thoughout all of the various communities. So of course as we get older and start looking for mates we will base our attractions on what we've been told is beautiful. That being said their are plenty of "mulatto" men out there with "pure" black women, although especially in the US and other Western societies the African descent population is far from pure, I've actually known quite a few "mulatto" men (and women) who because of their lighter complexions feel that they have to "prove" their blackness and seek out darker mates so that their children don't have to go through all of the self precieved turmoil they went through.

a mulatto i know can switch from "acting black" to "acting white" in a split second. usually depends on who she is with, but i think whites and blacks do that around each other too...if you're white surrounded by blacks, you'll talk different, etc, while if you're black surrounded by whites you'll act more "white". so it's really not a singly mulatto thing.

Talking about weak personalities? I NEVER act different, no matter who i am with, not even f you throw me in the middle of africa or skandinavia. I dont admire that much (euphenism) people who change personality or flags as easy as a pair of shoe. Sorry, that s Me.

maybe it is a weak personality issue...but unfortunately most of the world is not gifted with such a strong sense of self as you.

Everyone has to switch at some point in time and its not just confied to "race." Most people don't act the same way at work that you do at say home, or hanging out with your friends. Well all wear different faces whether consciously of subconsciously.

If you can show me a full blooded black female, I know quite a few mulatto men that would be interested.

I've actually seen some mulatto guys who preferred black women over white (though again I reiterate that U.S. blacks are not full-blooded African in the vast majority of cases but you get the idea), though I've also seen mulatto men with white girlfriends/wives. I guess they could probably go either way since they're a blend of both. Usually though, mulattoes identify themselves as black, at least here in the U.S.
