I doubt it unless you have A Mizrachi marrying a Ashkenazic girl producing children who prefer the mother's side.

Well really if you think about it Mizrahi is just Hebrew. Its not ladino, arabic, or anything. Its a name like Cohen or Levy or Azari. Names that are both used among ashkenazic and oriental jews.
Infact some oriental jews have the last name Ashkenazi.
Obviously a pure ashkenazi isn't going to have a spanish or arabic name, but hebrew is common enough, and Mizrahi is a hebrew word so I guess it makes sense. Maybe he is an ashkenazi whos great great great grandparents came from Syria or something.
