My question is why they disclaim arab ethincity especially today. Aren't Arabs Arab regardless of religion? In the U.S. or any other place,do christian arabs even associated with muslim arabs? Alexandrian you can answer this.

Well... I'm sure that in many parts of the world they do all get along. But remember too, that Muslim fundamentalists sometimes make it hard to be their friend... New Jersey Egyptian-American Coptic Christian murders (Jan 18th 2005) www.jihadwatch.org/archives/004660.phpThousands of Coptic Christians attended the funeral... jmm.aaa.net.au/articles/14272.htm...and 2 more were murdered, shortly there after, but it was made to look like a robbery. Coptic Christians have been pretty plain-spoken about how they believe it is Muslim Fundamentalism that is promoting violence, and not the Arab people as a whole. Here are some pictures of Coptic Christians. ![](http://www.c4israel.org/images/Coptic-Arab-Christians.jpg) ![](http://www.sptimes.com/News/012401/photos/sopin-coptic.jpg) ![](http://lexicorient.com/e.o/ill/copt_ch_assyut_priest.jpg)

I know that in the US Christian Egyptians do associate with Muslim Egyptians. It just depends on the type of person, a religious conservative would be more likely to stick to Christians than a liberal Christian who'd be more open-minded. As for Doug Flutie and Ralph Nader, you have to remember that Maronite and Melkite Christians were the first immigrants to America, coming far before their Muslim compatriots or their fellow Arab Christians. They've had much more time to assimilate and mix in with Americans and American culture, also keeping in mind that they were fairly Westernized to begin with. Oftentimes Lebanese look fairly familar to the European eye, so it was easier for them to assimilate in the States than it is for Maghrebians to assimilate in France for example.
Egyptians, who now make up the second largest ARab-American group, and Palestinians and Iraqis have been more recent immigrants, so it's yet to see where they will turn. Though, I must say, the first wave of Egyptian immigrants has been remarkably successful. THe new Census report on Arab-americans is very informative.

Arabs are the purest form of Mediterranean Caucasoid. End of story And BTW, those guys are not even real "Arabs" they are Arabs linguistically, these guys are NORTHERN Semites, most likely of Phoenician stock (some Assyrian extraction--Northern Semite-- as well, as Mar Maron was an Assyrian who established his church in Lebanon mountains) Here are some more famous Maronites www.maronite.org/showpages.asp?pid=1067The sexy Yasmine Bleeth is another ![](http://users2.ev1.net/~jemhadar/images/maelstroms_eye/me647-yasmine_bleeth_007.jpg) and if someone can find her picture as a crackhead, post that up that was funny as hell what happened to her LOL
