I'm white and I love spicy food. Its my favorite kind of food.
Probably my favorite spicy food is Indian. After that, lebanese. But Indian is the BEST.

A more important question is whether certain genetic varieties protect against Taco-butt. ...I see all manner of people eating spicy food. But no one talks about the private shame they might be enduring in the bathroom.

as mexicans, and south asians? In Scotland, spicy curries are so popular, they're now considered our national dish. However, hotter food is more common in warmer climates as it forces the body to sweat more, thus cooling one down. |

If you think white people don't like spicy foods, go to Texas.
I think it's more like, people from hot climates usually eat spicier food. It should be the opposite, I suppose. But for some reason, hot countries seem to like hot foods. Go figure...

You think Lebanese is spicy? Let me rephrase that. Some middle eastern food is spicy...I'm talking about falafel. Its not really "lebanese" per say, but thats the last place I had one. But its not nearly as spicy as Indian food. Indian food is by far my favorite, although I don't know any of the names of the dishes lol. I just slap all I can on my plate of everything at the all you can eat buffet. |

I'm thinking certain provinces of China have the hottest food. The chile pastes they have are sometimes unbelievable.

Portuguese food is quite spicy by European standards. This is partly due to the 16th century spice trade with India and the Far East.
