ive always thought about this.
a mathematician can help me.
ive got 2 parents, 4 grandparents, 8 great grandparents, 16 great great grand parents, 32 great great great grandparents, 64 great great great great grandparents, 128 great great great great great grandparents, 512, 1024, etc etc.
theres a limited number of human skeletons human ancestors on this planet.
it gets obvious somewhere down the line we get together. isnt it true?
it seems clear to me were all very much related...

Yes, mitochondrial DNA traces all human beings back to a common ancestor- a woman who lived in Africa 100,000 years ago. |

yeah, it's definitely true. our number of ancestors increase exponentially every generation, until eventually the number of ancestors exceeds the population that was on the earth - which means our ancestors are repeating in our pedigree...so when you get down to it, we're related, by our single common ancestor, and through various other common ancestor ties that aren't so ancient.
